How to Install a Shopify Theme

Upload and launch your new Novanture theme in minutes — no code, no developer needed.

Download & unzip

After purchase, download the theme .zip from your Etsy order. Keep the .zip as-is — Shopify needs the zipped file, not the extracted folder.

Open Shopify Themes

In your Shopify admin go to Online Store → Themes. Under "Theme library" click Add theme → Upload zip file.

Upload the .zip

Select the theme .zip and upload. It appears in your theme library in a few seconds.

Customize

Click Customize to open the theme editor. Change colors, fonts, text and images, and add or reorder sections — everything is editable, no code.

Add your products & pages

Add products and collections, then create standard pages (About, Contact, FAQ) and set your navigation menu so every link works.

Publish

When it looks right, click … → Publish to make it your live theme. That's it — your store is live.

Do I need to know how to code?

No. Novanture themes are Online Store 2.0 and fully editable in the Shopify theme editor — colors, fonts, text, images and sections, all without touching code.

Will my store look exactly like the demo?

Right after upload the theme uses placeholder demo images. You swap in your own photos, text and products to match the look. Basic Shopify familiarity helps.

Do I need a Shopify plan?

Yes — a theme is a template for a Shopify store, so an active Shopify plan is required (not included).

What do I actually receive?

An instant digital download: the theme .zip plus a printable setup guide PDF. No physical item is shipped.
